Reference Cost Advisory Group: March 2012 meeting

The March 2012 meeting of the Reference Cost Advisory Group (RCAG) included discussions on:

• transition update – reference costs and the role of Monitor and the NHS
• Commissioning Board
• Monitor’s work on costing
• 2011-12 reference costs collection and publication
• other cost collections during 2012
• collecting spells costs – from pilot exercise in 2009-10 to mandating in 2011-12
• 2012-13 reference costs.
